Art Gallery

Welcome to my art gallery! This will be my virtual art gallery where you can see my pieces of art! I will be posting pictures of my pieces and writing a little blurb about them so that you can know the backstory. Most of these pieces are from my sketch book and aren't really elaborate. I mostly use pencil or charcoal as my medium, but I am progressing on to painting! Whoohoo! As I look back at my work I notice things I messed up on so I'll just apologize now for any lack of detail or any mistakes. I hope you enjoy! Please feel free to comment and tell me what you like!

(One more thing, these are original pieces of art, please DO NOT copy! Thanks!)

Title: Sight
Medium: Charcoal
This is an eye that I did on Nov 8, 2012. It was a really quick drawing because
had homework to do but I really wanted to take a break so I hurried and whipped it out! I know I did it in less than an hour(well, I think it was less than an hour...time flies when you're drawing!) I know how to draw eyes but I had forgotten some of the basics and my eyes were looking too cartoony, So I went to my friends Blog and did a tutorial on eyes and she reminded me of the details!
 Title: Pascal
Medium: Water Colored Pencils and Pencil

I love disney. It's a fact. I especially love Tangled and on the first day of summer after seventh grade I got sick. My mom and I sat outside on our patio chairs and I started to draw. We had just watched Tangled and I was in love with Pascal, Rapuzel's chameleon. I decided to draw him. I had lot's of fun with it and decided to do another and continue with...(scroll down a little

Title: Tangled
Medium: Pencil

I couldn't just stop with Pascal. I had to go on and I decided to draw Repunzel. As you can see, she isn't finished. She is a work in progress(it's been almost a year now...I just get a little busy...) and after that day was over I moved on and haven't finished her. I will finish her soon so that you can see the final product!

Title: Three Dresses
Medium: Water Colored Pencils
Date: October 2012

This drawing and the one underneath it were just some drawings that I did in the car while we were in Seattle. I was just drawing for fun and using bold colors and lot's of color mixing. I was just working on different styles of dresses. So I hope you enjoy both of them! (This yellow, the blue, and the green dress.)

Medium:

I went up to my brothers orientation for college and I was a little bored so luckily I brought my sketch book with me and I got to draw! I was working on lips more but as I look at it I realize that the eye is really small! So the proportions are off....but I really like it!

Title: Charlie's Shoe
Medium: Pencil

Some one asked me to do a speed draw and we drew Charlie 's shoe. It was a quick sketch so there isn't value in it but it was fun to do it in class!

Title: Sunday Shoppe
Medium: #2 Pencil (I think...it might have been an HB pencil)

I drew this while I was at my brothers collage orientation. I was with my mom and boy, it was long! I didn't know what to draw but they had said that we'd get some Aggie ice cream later. Being the child that I am, was hungry and knew I was getting some ice cream. So, I did what every normal person would do. I drew it.

Title: Stuff in my Bag
Medium:

I also drew this while I was at the orientation. I drew what I would have in my back pack because I could just keep adding on. I didn't have an eraser but it was fun! I just kept adding and adding on till the page was full. As you can see, I like to have everything prepared. If you look closely you'll see all kinds of things from band aids to ear buds, I am pretty set!

Title: Avengers
Medium: Water Colored Pencils
Date: June 2012

I drew this on the car ride up to Seattle. I wanted to draw a cartoony version of the Avengers and I had lot's of fun with this.
Title: Rose
Medium: Regular pencil

I was in english and I didn't have to do anything, so I just sketched this rose in a few minutes as class was finishing up!
Title: Charcoal Rose
Medium: Charcoal

I was with my little brother and he wanted me to watch Lord of the Rings with him. I said okay but I really wanted to draw. So I brought some stuff downstairs, and as we watched I just drew a rose from my imagination!

Title: Green Eyes
Medium: Green Colored Pencil

I drew these in my science class in 8th grade. I was working with different eye shapes and trying to to draw different eyes. I did them when ever I had extra time in science.
Title: Isaac
Medium: Regular #2 pencil (I think...)

I was drawing as we were at Bear Lake with my cousins. I didn't know what to draw so my cousin, Isaac said instantly, "Draw me!" I did, but I had to get him in a comfortable pose because I knew he would not be able to keep still. So I had him go lay on some pillows. He was tired, so it was great! He got to rest and I got to draw!

Title: Shadow Girl
Medium: Pencil

The inspiration for this drawing was from a shadow I saw on my taben(Tent with a wooden frame and wooden floor, so half tent half cabin) 'wall' from a camp that I went to in Idaho. I never drew her face because I didn't want to mess it up but I also saw two little boys running around at the base of the tree but I forgot how it looked so I never drew them.
Title: Betty
Medium: Charcoal

This was a first attempt at drawing a baby and I think it turned out okay...it's a drawing of one of the kids I babysit when she was a newborn, her name is Betty, and she is one of the cutest little
baby's!

Title: Fox
Medium: Clay, paint, and sharpie on the eyes.

I had to make this for a science project and it was really fun! I enlarged the ears because I wanted to have him look a little different from an actual fox. We didn't have to create our animal from clay but...I had time(this was back in 7th grade. Now that I am in High School I do not understand the meaning of 'extra time', ha ha) so I went above and beyond.

Title: Caroline
Medium: Colored pencils, Washable markers, and a Black Pen

This is a drawing of my friend Caroline. She is a really funny person and I had fun drawing her in cartoon/anime. I stared drawing her and I really disliked how it looked it with a burning passion but another one of my friends told me to keep going! I then colored it and I loved it! So moral of this story, don't give up! Keep going!
